After rolling-out Android 5.0 Lollipop to G3 in Europe and South Korea, LG has finally released the latest Google mobile OS to the flagship phone in India.
The new update currently has been made available through manual process. Users need to download update on their PC via companion suite – "LG Mobile Support" and then transfer it to the phone, reported NDTV Gadgets.

As of now, there is no word on when the OTA (Over-The-Air) update process would begin, but if history is taken as any indication, LG G3 owners can expect to get the update notifications most probably by this weekend.
It has to be noted that Android 5.0 Lollipop update is being rolled-out in phases, so it will take some time to reach all the corners of the country.
Until then LG G3 owners can check manually on the phone for update notifications –
Go to: Settings >> About Phone >> System update >> check now
