Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is basking in the success of his back-to-back blockbusters "Ennu Ninte Moideen" and "Amar Akbar Anthony" is awaiting the release of his comedy family romantic entertainer "Anarkali".
"Anarkali", the debut directorial venture of Sachy of scriptwriters Sachy-Sethu duo, has cleared the Censor Board's examination with a clean U certification on Monday, 9 November.
The makers have now confirmed that the film will be released on Friday, 13 November.

Prithviraj Sukumaran
With two back-to-back successful films, Prithviraj has been ranked on the top position at the Kerala box office and this fact alone makes his upcoming film one of the much awaited films of the year. With the release of "Anarkali", Prithviraj will be able to enjoy an unusual feat of having his three films competing against each other at the same time.
Prithviraj - Biju Menon Combination
From the trailer of the film, it is evident that the film promises some comedy combination by Prithviraj and Biju Menon. While Prithviraj will be seen as Sub Lieutenant Shantanu, Biju plays the role of Lieutenant Zacharia. Sachy's debut directorial
Sachy has scripted hit Malayalam films "Chocolate", "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and "Seniors" along with Sethu. "Anarkali" is his debut directorial venture and is his third outing with Prithviraj.
Casting
"Anarkali" has Mia George, Priyal Gor, Sudev Nair, Biju Menon, Samskruthy Shenoy and Kabir Bedi in pivotal roles. Priyal's character name is Nadira Imam and she will be seen as the daughter of a Rear Admiral Jaffer Imam (Kabir Bedi) in the Indian Navy living in Kerala. Both Priya and Kabir will speaking Hindi and English in the film.
Mia will portray the character Sherin Mathew, who works as a doctor in Kavarathi and Samskruthy will be seen as a Muslim MBBS student from Lakshwadweep.
Another highlight of the film is the presence of prominent directors Major Ravi, Renji Panicker and Madhupal, and cinematographer Rajeev Menon, who are doing pivotal roles in the film.
Music
The makers have already released three video songs -- "Mohabbath", "Ee Thanutha" and "Aa Oruthi" -- which are already ranked top on the chart list. While Rajeev Nair and Manoj Muntahir have penned the lyrics, Vidyasagar has composed the music for the film. The songs have already raised the expectations of the film. Watch the songs HERE
