There have been lots of rumours that claimed Amy Jackson would play a robot in Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie "2.0," also called as "Endhiran 2." But the actress has now denied the reports.
Speaking to Times of India, Amy Jackson said she was not playing a robot, but refused to spill the beans on her role as it might reveal the entire plot of "2.0." The actress confidently said she has a challenging role, one which "Madrasapattinam" girl has not been seen in till date.
Earlier, Amy Jackson had released some photos on a social networking site in which she was seen dressed as a robot for the shoot. Apparently, this had paved the way for the rumours on her role in "2.0."
Talking about her co-star Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson claimed she is a big fan of the superstar and could not believe herself when the offer to act with him came her way.
"On the first day of shoot, I was quite nervous on the set. He came to me and asked if I would like to have some homemade juice. He knows everyone on the set and he speaks to everyone. He asks simple things like, 'How did your work go yesterday?' He would even crack jokes on the set — he is so grounded and humble," the daily quotes the 24-year-old as saying.
"2.0" is directed by Shankar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, which is making the film with a huge budget of Rs 350 crore. "Endhiran 2" is a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster "Endhiran". The first instalment featured Rajinikanth in a double role, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing the lead. Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam, Karunas and others were also in the cast.
