Amy Jackson has overtaken big names like Shruti Haasan, Samantha, Tamanna, Nayantara, Anushka and many others to become Tamil Nadu's Most Desirable Woman of 2014.
The annual polls conducted by Chennai Times shows the increasing popularity of Amy Jackson. It is quite a remarkable feat by the actress considering she is of foreign origin and doesn't even speak Tamil. The British actress has got the highest percentage of votes.
With this, she has pushed down 2013's Most Desirable Woman Shruti Haasan to the second position. Jackson was in the sixth position in 2012 and landed in the third place last year. Samantha is in the third place followed by Tamanna and squash player Dipika Pallikal in the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

This achievement will come as a big boost to Amy Jackson's career in Kollywood and has come at a time when big production houses are knocking her doors for her dates. This success would not have been possible without her mega-budget movie "I" starring Vikram and directed by Shankar. Currently, she has Dhanush-Velraj's movie, Akshay Kumar's Bollywood movie "Sing is Bling" and Ilayathalapathy Vijay's untitled movie directed by Atlee Kumar in the pipeline.
Coming back to the list, top actresses Anushka Shetty, Nayantara, Pradhayini, Andrea Jeremiah and Hansika Motwani are in the next positions. Surprisingly, Trisha is in the eleventh position. Kajal Aggarwal, Amyra Dastur, Catherine Tresa, Priya Anand, Vedhicka, Raai Laxmi, Parvathy Menon, Taapsee Pannu, Janani Iyer, Sri Divya and Sancita Shetty are the other actresses, who have made it to the Top 25 list of Most Desirable Woman in Tamil Nadu.
