It looks like there will be a major Box Office clash in the Bachchan family this May.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently busy shooting for Sujoy Ghosh's "Te3n", recently took to twitter to announce that the film will be released on 20 May.
"#TE3NtheFILM .. releasing May 20, 2016 .. 2 months non stop shoot and out to the audience .. SUPER !" he tweeted.
Interestingly, Big B's daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's film "Sarbjit" will hit the theatres a day prior (19 May).
"Sarbjit" is a film based on the real life struggle of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian national who was brutally killed in a Pakistani jail in 2013. The former Miss World will play the role of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur, while the character of Sarabjit will be played by Randeep Hooda.
"Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar has been roped in for the character of Khalid Pervaiz, a Pakistani lawyer who fights Sarabjit's case.
Produced by Sandeep Singh, Zeeshan Quadri and Omung Kumar, the biopic also stars Richa Chaddha and is expected to be released at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
On the other hand, Big B has teamed up with "Te3n" director Ribhu Dasgupta after his TV series "Yudh". The "Wazir" actor has shared several pictures from "Te3n" shoot in Kolkata. The film also has Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key role and will see Vidya Balan in a cameo.
