Amitabh Bachchan could be soon seen playing father to Ranbir Kapoor, if things fall in place for the PC Sorcar biopic.
Both Bachchan and Kapoor have been approached for a film about magician PC Sorcar and his son PC Sorcar Jr.
Nothing has been finalised and the film's casting is still understood to be at a premature stage but the project is set to be directed by Soumik Sen of "Gulaab Gang" fame, reported DNA.
The biopic is expected to be big-budget flick and will involve a large amount of special effects but the highlight is to be the father-son relationship between the veteran conjuror Sorcar and Sorcar Jr.
While Kapoor will soon be seen in a special appearance in Bachchan's upcoming flick "Bhootnath Returns", the actors are yet to work together in a film otherwise.
The veteran had even expressed a desire to work with the "Besharam" actor recently.
"I hope we can work together some day in a film. I would be ok doing even a small role in his film. He (Kapoor) is very popular ...than me," Bachchan had told PTI recently.
Meanwhile, the 71-year-old has also been approached for a key role in Soojit Sircar's "Piku". The film, which has three main characters, will reportedly star Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan as well, and is expected to start rolling from August this year.
