The sad part of television reality talent shows is that some of your favourite contestants have to leave the show every week, and sometimes average acts are voted through.
America's Got Talent (AGT) Season 10 is not without its share of shock. Music lovers will be disppointed with the show's semi-finals 2 results as all the singers who performed on Tuesday failed to make it to the finals.
Believe it or not, Sharon Irving, Alondra Santos, 3 Shades of Blue, Alicia Michilli and Daniella Mass were eliminated on Wednesday.
Coming back to America's Got Talent second semi-final results episode, host Nick Cannon took the stage on Wednesday to do something he apparently hates, that is to call out some names he is familiar with and send them packing which can be heart-breaking.
Well, Nick first called out Uzeyer Novruzov, Freelusion and Gary Vider for Dunkin' Save. He then called 3 Shades of Blue and Daniella Mass on to the stage to announce those who have made it through to the finals. Surprisingly, he declared that both didn't make it.
He then pitted Alondra Santos and Piff the Magic Dragon against each other, which the latter won. Then professional regurgitator Stevie Starr beat Alicia Michilli to advance to the finals, and Paul Zerdin beat Sharon Irving.
The show returned to Dunkin' Save, and Uzeyer Novruzov, who faltered while performing his ladder climbing stunt in the live shows, was declared the winner. That left Freelusion and Gary Vider for judges' choice. Gary won on Dunkin' Save percentages after being tied with two judges voting for each contestant.
So, The Professional Regurgitator, Piff the Magic Dragon, Gary Vider, Uzeyer Novruzov, and Paul Zerdin will join last week's qualifiers, Derek Hughes, Oz Pearlman, Drew Lynch, Benton Blunt and The CraigLewis Band, in the finals.
The AGT 2015 semi-finals 2 results will disappoint many, as not even a single singer who performed this week, made it to the top 10. The most shocking is no doubt elimination of Sharon Irving, who is not only a great singer but also one of the most consistent performers this season.
