The American Music Awards to be held on Sunday will be hosted by Pitbull again. Here are the top 5 things to look out for:
1.Performers: Sam Smith and "5 Seconds of Summer" will be performing for the first time at AMA's. Iggy Azalea, Garth Brooks, Selena Gomez, Charli XCX, Ariana Grande, Jessie J Grande, Lorde, MAGIC!, Mary J. Blige, Imagine Dragons, Fergie and Pitbull will belt out their famous songs. Popular British boy band "One Direction" and country crooner Swift's performance are most awaited. Jennifer Lopez and Azalea will perform a duet
2. Nominees: Azalea is leading the pack with nominations in six categories. The Australian singer is up for; new artist of the year, artist of the year, single of the year, favourite female artist - pop/rock, favourite artist and album in the rap/hip-hop categories. She will be competing with ten artists including, Beyoncé, Eminem, John Legend, One Direction, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Imagine Dragons, Lorde and Pharrell Williams for the artist of the year award.
Artists who have been nominated for five awards include Katy Perry, John Legend and Pharrell Williams. Lorde is up for four awards.
3. Taylor Schilling and Uzo Abuda of "Orange Is the New Black" fame will be presenting awards. Other celebs who will be seen doing the honours include "Fault in our Stars" actor Ansel Elgort, Lucy Hale, Danica McKellar, Meghan Trainor, Aloe Blacc, Jamie Foxx, Julianne Hough, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jessie J, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Heidi Klum, Mary Lambert, Olivia Munn and others, reports Glamour.
4. The winners are chosen by fans. Voting had started on 13 Oct. They voted on AMAvote.com.
5. The show is produced by Dick Clark Production.
