In what could come as shocking news to American Idol XIV 2015 followers, the semi-finals results has been announced and one of the best performers last week has been eliminated from the show.
Savion Wright impressed everyone with his rendition of "Hey, Soul Sister" by Train during the top 12 boys performance last week. Judges were all praise for him last week with Jennifer Lopez saying, "What I love about you is your style, it's very very unique," while Keith Urban said they are looking forward to see more of his strengths.
However, Savion failed to make it to top eight male contestants. His ousted from the shown may disappoint many following his solid performance in the semi-finals, but that's not new to the show. Other contestants, who failed to make it, are Michael Simeon, Trevor Douglas, and Riley Bria.
The remaining top eight male contestants performed live again on Wednesday with the hope of making it to top 12.
Daniel Seavey: He performed Marvin Gaye's "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and it wasn't a good rendition.
Mark Andrew: He sang The Temptations' "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and it was not an impressive performance.
Rayvon Owen: He performed the song, "My Girl" by The Temptations and it was a good performance.
Adam Ezegelian: He rendered The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" and it was an average rendition.
Clark Beckham: He took on the song, "The Tracks Of My Tears" by The Miracles' and it was a good performance.
Nick Fradiani: He sang Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours." It was a very good performance.
Qaasim Middleton: He took on Stevie Wonder's "I Wish" and it was a beautiful rendition.
Quentin Alexander: He performed Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster (Jammin')" and it was perhaps the best performance of the night.
Going by their performances on Wednesday, it looks like contestants like Daniel, Mark, Rayvon, and Adam could be in danger of being eliminated.
