American Idol XIV 2015 three-episode semi-finals is on with the top 24 contestants to be trimmed down to 16 before the top 12 go to the next round. The show will go live on Wednesday with the contestants to perform live before judges - Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. – and audience will decide their fate in the competition through their votes based on their performance.
Top 16 contestants will be revealed on Wednesday's episode, which is to be followed by live performances by top eight male contestants, while top eight female artistes will hit the stage on Thursday.
The live performance of top eight male contestants will be aired on Wednesday, 4 March at 8/7c PM on FOX and America will decide their fate in the competition through their votes.

Male: Adam Ezegelian, Michael Simeon, Savion Wright, Mark Andrew, Trevor Douglas, Clark Beckham, Rayvon Owen, Daniel Seavey, Riley Bria, Quentin Alexander, Nick Fradiani, Qaasim Middleton
Female: Tyanna Jones, Adanna Duru, Jax Cole, Sarina-Joi Crowe, Shi Scott, Loren Lott, Shannon Berthiaume, Lovey James, Joey Cook, Alexis, Maddie Walker, Katherine Winston.
Going by last week's performances it looks like Trevor, Michael, Adam, Daniel, and Riley will be in danger of being eliminated among the male contestants, while Shi, Shannon, Lovey, Adanna and Alexis could be in danger zone among the female contestants. However, the final outcome can be entirely different as America will decide their fate in the competition through their votes.
