Amazon has finally unveiled their next low cost book reader in its Kindle range, the Amazon All-New Kindle.
The new Kindle will boast several new features apart from its low cost to impress the buyers. It includes Kindle FreeTime, Vocabulary Builder, Ready-to-use, whispersync, Smart Lookup with better archiving capability and extended battery life.
For encouraging kids to read more, Kindle has added a feature called FreeTime, which will allow parents to select the books and hands out a progress report on total time spent, number of words looked up and books finished. To encourage the kids, this feature also provides badges.
It also adds a Vocabulary builder, which fetches the words directly from the dictionary and later expands the reader's knowledge.
The All-New kindle saves and synchronizes last read, bookmarks and annotation across devices and Kindle apps and also integrates a full dictionary definition with other reference information via X-Ray and Wikipedia.
The All-New Kindle will be available for ₹5,999 with faster processing, bigger storage and a touchscreen interface.
The device will be made available at Amazon's retail website and 320 retail stores across India, including Croma, Reliance Digital, EZone and Vijay Sales stores across India.
Amazon claims that it will release new features Word Wise and Enhanced search as part of a free, over-the-air software update and will also be available on Kindle Paperwhite.
