The OnePlus One smartphone has started an invite distribution for buying their smartphones in India through an exclusive contest.
In the contest, participants need to post a quote along with their #neversettle hash tag and take a selfie. OnePlus will choose 100 lucky winners from among the posted picture to get the right to buy a phone in India. The entire contest strongly hints that the smartphone manufacturer is about to start selling devices in India through a local seller. According to sources, Amazon India is about to get the unique selling right for this smartphone.
Meanwhile, Amazon India has also posted a mysterious banner on their website. With a caption "the smartphone you have been waiting for, is coming soon." The smartphone image is surprisingly very similar to One smartphone.
Flipkart has already become the exclusive seller for several brands including Xiaomi and making decent revenues through flash sales. If everything goes according to plan, Amazon India is expected to get a decent response.
One, the only Android Smartphone product of Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is available in several countries without an invite. The Android smartphone has acquired a decent response from the users and experts for several reasons. First, the device is available in two storage versions - 64 GB and 128 GB and is available at a competitive price of Rs. 19,000 and Rs. 25,000 approximately. Second, the phone features a decent configuration in its price. And the most exciting thing about One Smartphone is it features a Cyanogen 11S-based operating system.
