Amazon India will be hosting an attractive Electronics Mela on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9, giving shoppers a chance to grab their favourite gadgets at dirt cheap prices. The sale will be exclusive to Amazon's app users.
There will be three main events during the sale - two quiz contests on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9, and an app treasure hunt. Shoppers must be swift and alert as the contests will be time sensitive. Below are the details and how participants can win prizes and get best deals on electronics.
App Treasure Hunt: Electronics at just Re. 1
The app treasure hunt will be held between 11 am and 7 pm on Sept. 8. During this time, there will be a clue to a product listed on the app at an interval of every 30 minutes. Participants must identify and find the product hinted by the clue and go to the product detail page.
If the participants identify the right product, then the app treasure hunt will give them a chance to purchase that product at just Re. 1. While this contest is time sensitive, participants must also act fast as the offer runs only till the stocks last.
Besides the Re. 1 charge for the product itself, there will be standard shipping charges, taxes and other applicable charges even during the promotion.
Quiz Day 1 (Sept. 8): Timings, eligibility and prizes
The first Amazon Electronics Mela quiz will run between 12 midnight and 11 am on Sept. 8 and the second contest will commence at 7 pm and run till 12 midnight on the same day. Participants must head over to the promotion page during the contest timing.
There will be a question posted on the app at 12 am and participants with correct answers will be selected for a lucky draw. The winner on the first day of the quiz will win a Coolpad Mega 2.5D worth Rs. 6,999.
Quiz Day 2 (Sept. 9): Timing, eligibility and prizes
The timing and the eligibility criteria for the second day quiz is same as the first day. Those who get the correct answer for the question posted on the promotion page at 12 am will stand a chance to win a Logitech Z506 Surround Sound 5.1 Speakers.
Participants must refrain from answering the question twice with different answers. Each participant will be eligible for only one prize during the contest.
