Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney were recently spotted having a dinner date with friends Stella McCartney and Alasdhair Willis. The power couples spent some quality time as they enjoyed a sumptuous meal at the River Café in London.
The newlyweds, Clooney and Alamuddin, reportedly received much attention from the fellow diners when they stepped into the hotel. "They looked very much in love. All the ladies in the restaurant were beaming huge smiles trying to attract George's attention, who only had eyes for Amal," the source said to E! Online.
As they sat down at the table, Clooney helped his wife to take her jacket off. The handsome "Gravity" star later sipped on some wine while devouring the restaurant's famous seasonal Italian cuisine.
"(The couples) looked happy and animated in conversation as the evening wore on," said an onlooker. They reportedly spent three hours at the eatery and Clooney's wife reportedly received plethora of "admiring glances" from the onlookers.
For the evening, the London-based lawyer wore a white double-breasted coat from Alexandra McQueen's couture collection. She coupled her look with a pair of black gloves and a woollen cap. She kept her hair open and used minimal make-up.
This is the second time that Clooney and Alamuddin have been spotted on a date since getting married in September. Earlier this month they were seen on an afternoon date at Savoy Hotel.
"I was having tea at the Savoy yesterday and I saw George Clooney and his wife walk in," a source had said to the website adding, "They walked through to another bar."
Meanwhile, Clooney and Alamuddin are reportedly planning to adopt a child from Syria. They both are known for their charitable work and by adopting a child they want to highlight the "plights of orphans" in war-torn countries, according to a Daily Mail report.
The Oscar-winning actor got married to Alamuddin in a luxurious wedding in Italy. The grand wedding saw more than 100 guests, including Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, Ellen Barkin, Anna Wintour, Steve Lukather, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. The lavish affair lasted for four days.
