Lady Gaga, known for attending functions in bizarre outfits, caught the attention of the onlookers at the American Music Awards 2013 (AMA 2013), by hitting the red carpet on a horse puppet.
Dressed in a Versace gown, the 26-year-old "Poker Face" singer arrived at the award function atop a white horse puppet operated by two people. She also performed the song "Do What You Want" with R. Kelly at the event.
"So much of ARTPOP is an infusion of disco," Gaga told E! News' Giuliana Rancic. "It's very Bianca Jagger arriving at Studio 54 on her white horse."
"I'm a pretty good cook. I love to cook actually. It's actually one of my favorite things to do. I love to make good for my family," she went on to say, adding "My dad has a restaurant in New York, called Joanne's, so I think it just runs in my family."
It may be recalled that Lady Gaga hit the headlines a few years ago by attending the MTV Video Music Awards in a dress made of raw meat, drawing criticism from several quarters. She had also worn weird attires like bubbles, fish nets and boob sparklers.
The 41st American Music Awards was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. Taylor Swift walked away with four awards, including Artist of the Year at the glittering awards ceremony, while One Direction, Justin Timberlake and Macklemore were among the most-awarded artistes at the event. Rihanna was adjudged the ceremony's first Icon Award.
