Star Plus' "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" will reportedly be go off air soon.
Recenty, the makers took a major step of replacing the lead actors Shritama Mukherjee and Vibhav Roy with fresh pair Aly Goni and Asha Negi and changing the plot of the story, after the show's TRP ratings drastically fell.
However, despite making such efforts, the show's ratings haven't improved, forcing the makers to consider the idea of shutting it down.
According to reports, Aly-Asha's show will air its last episode on 2 January, 2016.
"The Producers tried their best to make the show more gripping, which would engage the viewers but sadly, the show will soon bid adieu. 'Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan' will air its last telecast on January 2 next year," a source told India-Forums.
However, no confirmation has been made by the makers yet. When contacted Aly, he said: "We have not been informed of any such development as of now."
If the news turns out to be true, it will surely disappoint fans of the show and the popular actors.
Meanwhile, "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" took a year-long leap after which Maddy (Gautam Gupta) and Koyal (Asha) are seen happily leading their respective lives.
However, Raj (Aly), who was declared dead after a fire broke out in prison a year ago, has returned; but this time, as a powerful person. Post-leap, Raj is now known as Awara and is set to avenge all the wrongs done to him.
