Newcomer Bellamkonda Sreenivas's "Alludu Seenu" is doing good business at the AP/Nizam box office.

"Alludu Seenu" has been performing well since the first day of its release. The film minted approximately ₹2.85 crore on the first day and maintained steady business on the second and third day.
The action comedy entertainer received decent reviews from critics. "Alludu Seenu" is dominating the screens with no other Telugu releases.
The film has minted over ₹36 lakh in its first weekend at the US box office. It fetched $60,465 (₹36.36 lakh) from 55 screens in its opening weekend in the US, reported Bollywood Hungama.
Despite having a newcomer in the lead role, "Alludu Seenu" has managed to fare well thanks to director V.V. Vinayak, who is popular for his commercial entertainers. The director's brand name is one of the reasons why the film recorded strong openings in B and C centres, reported Gulte.
The Sreenivas starrer is expected to continue a good run at the box office this week, until the release of new films on 1 August. However, the film has to hold well for a few more weeks in order to turn into a profitable venture for the distributors.
According to reports, the makers of "Alludu Seenu" have spent huge amounts in making the film as well as to promote it. For the film to be termed as a decent box office success, it has to earn over ₹25 crore AP/Nizam share, reported the Andhraboxoffice website.
The action entertainer has Sreenivas playing the title role. Prakash Raj appears in double roles - as Seenu's uncle and as a don. Samantha, Brahmanandam, Pradeep Rawat, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore and Ravi Babu are also part of the cast, while Tamannaah has done an item number in the film.
The music of "Alludu Seenu" is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography is handled by Chota. K. Naidu. The film is produced by Bellamkinda Suresh for Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner.
