S Radha Krishna, who has produced the movie with a whopping budget, held a special screening of "S/O Satyamurthy" for officials of the Censor Board on Monday, 30 March. After watching the film, the officials lauded the team for the wonderful work. They awarded 'U/A' certificate to the movie without any cut.
Now, the makers of "S/O Satyamurthy" are busy with arrangements for the movie's worldwide release. It was initially slated to be released in theatres on 2 April, but Dil Raju, who has bought the distribution rights, reportedly forced its producer to delay the release by a week.
Reports suggest that Dil Raju has also distributed Gopichand's "Jil", which hit screens on 27 March, and was sceptic about recovering his investments from the film in just one week. Hence, he reportedly requested the makers of "S/O Satyamurthy" to postpone the release by a week so that he will at least get back his money from "Jil". The makers agreed.
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, "S/O Satyamurthy" is family drama film featuring an ensemble cast of Allu Arjun, Upendra, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sneha, Adah Sharma, Nithya Menen and Rajendra Prasad. The movie has Devi Sri Prasad's soundtracks and background score, and Prasad Murella's camera work.
"S/O Satyamurthy", which has been produced under the banner Haarika and Haasine Creations, has been made with a budget of around ₹40 crore. The movie has earned ₹50 crore from the sale of its music, satellite and distribution rights. With the film slated to hit screens, it would be interesting to see whether the distributors recover their investment and earn profit.
