Allu Arjun's DJ.. Duvvada Jagannadham first look poster released; shooting stalled at Belur temple

The first look of Allu Arjun's forthcoming movie DJ.. Duvvada Jagannadham was released on Saturday, February 18. A simple look of the actor wearing a white shirt and dhoti in the Telugu movie hit the internet with a bang.

With sacred ash smeared on his forehead and hands, Allu Arjun is seen carrying bags of vegetables on a scooter. His simple, yet captivating look has become the topic of discussion on Twitter, with critics and viewers praising the poster.

DJ.. Duvvada Jagannadham is written and directed by Harish Shankar. It is his first collaboration with Allu Arjun. The Dil Raju-produced film stars Pooja Hegde in the female lead role.The Telugu movie features Devi Sri Prasad's music, Ayananka Bose's cinematography and Gautham Raju's editing.

Now, all eyes are on the film's teaser. which will be launched on February 25 on the occasion of the Maha Shivaratri festival. DJ.. Duvvada Jagannadham will hit the screens worldwide in May although the exact date is not confirmed yet.

The shooting of DJ.. Duvvada Jagannadham was stalled in the historical temple at Belur in Karnataka after the Archaeological Survey of India cancelled the permission, which was granted earlier.

The DJ..Duvvada Jagannadham team was reported to have obstructed the movement of tourists at Belur, causing anger among the visitors. Also, the team violated rules by decorating the monument and setting up external structures.

Arun Raj, the superintending archaeologist of Bengaluru Circle, told the Hindu that Sri Venkateswara Film Corporation will now never get permission to shoot at any monuments that come under the Archaeological Survey of India.
