For the past few months, there has been a lot of buzz on the female leads of the upcoming Allu Arjun-Trivikram Srinivas film.
Earlier, there were reports claiming that Allu will be romancing three heroines in the film. Samantha and Adah Sharma are reportedly playing the roles, while there has been a buzz on who will play as the film's third heroine.
According to the latest reports, Pranitha has been apparently chosen as the third female lead.
"Director (Trivikram) was keen on having Pranitha on board right from the onset. However, the filmmakers wanted to wait to see how 'Rabhasa' (in which Pranitha played the second lead) fared at the BO, before taking the final call. It is a small, but significant role and Trivikram believes Pranitha is a perfect fit for it," a source from the film's unit told The Times of India.
If the reports turn out to be true, it will be Pranitha's second film with Trivikram post the stupendous success of their 2013 blockbuster flick "Attarintiki Daaredi" and she will be sharing the screen space with Allu for the first time.
There are also reports that Kannada actor Upendra, Sneha, Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh and Vennela Kishore will be part of the yet-to-be-titled film. However, an official confirmation regarding the cast is yet to be made.
The shooting of the film commenced a few days ago in Hyderabad. The untitled film is Allu-Trivikram's second collaboration after "Julayi," which performed well at the box office.
Both of them are on a roll with the success of their last releases. While Allu hit a jackpot with his 2014 Sankranti release "Race Gurram", Trivikram's "Attarintiki Daaredi" was an industry hit. There will be huge expectations for their upcoming film and it remains to be seen if they will be able to impress the fans.
The film, touted to be a family entertainer, will reportedly have Allu in a stylish new look and music composer Devi Sri Prasad will be providing the soundtracks.
