Telugu star Allu Arjun has achieved a feat that has not come the way of any other South Indian actor. The actor's Facebook popularity has skyrocketed and he has over 5 million likes (50 lakh) on the social networking site.
Other popular actors of South Indian film industries are yet to achieve this rare feat. Actor Prabhas' Facebook page has over 19 lakh likes, while JR NTR's official page has more than 10 lakh followers. Ram Charan's page has 17 lakh likes , "Kaththi" actor Vijay's page has 16 lakh likes, Kamal Haasan's page has 25 lakh likes , Mammootty has 22 lakh likes , Mohanlal has 24 lakh likes and Prithviraj has 17 lakh likes on their respective Facebook pages.
Arjun is one of the most sought-after actors in Telugu cinema. His fan base is spread across the South Indian film industry in all four languages including Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

"Race Gurram", which hit the screens in April, has emerged as the highest grossing Telugu film of 2014 (so far). The film has earned close to ₹60 crore and stands in fourth spot in the list of all time highest grossing Telugu films next to "Attarintiki Daaredi", "Magadheera" and "Gabbar Singh." Arjun's performance and dancing skills in the film were highly appreciated by critics as well as the audience.
The actor is currently busy preparing for the role of historical personality Gona Ganna Reddy in the upcoming film "Rudhramadevi." He is undergoing training for special action sequences that he will perform in the historic drama, which has Anushka Shetty playing the title role. Arjun's role will be one of the major attractions of the big budget entertainer.
After completing his part for the film, the actor will shift his focus on his new project with director Trivikram Srinivas. The actor-director duo is teaming up for the second time post the success of "Julayi" in 2012. There will be huge expectations from this hit combo as "Julayi" turned out to be a big hit. The yet-to-be-titled flick was launched in April and its pre-production work has already commenced. Samantha will play the female lead for the first time opposite Arjun, while S.
