Telugu actor Allu Arjun is all set to enter the Kannada film industry and will be teaming up with none other than Golden Star Ganesh in his first outing in Sandalwood.
However, Allu Arjun is not making his debut as an actor, but is turning a producer in Kannada. Yes, the Telugu actor is producing the Kannada remake of Tollywood hit movie "Bhale Bhale Magadivoy". Leading producer Rockline Venkatesh has acquired the remake rights and Arjun is collaborating with the "Lingaa" producer for this venture.
Rockline Venkatesh has not produced a movie post his blockbuster "Super" starring Upendra and Nayantara in Kannada. But he made big movies in other languages like "Power" (Telugu), "Lingaa" (Tamil) and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (Hindi). After tasting success in other industries, he is returning to Sandalwood again with this flick.
Meanwhile, Golden Star Ganesh has reportedly given his consent to act in the untitled project. He will take up the movie once he wraps up his upcoming Kannada flicks like "Paataaki"," Zoom", "Style King" and "Mungaru Male 2".
Nanda Kishore, who has directed successful movies earlier like "Victory" and "Ranna", is said to be helming the project. More details on the film are yet to be revealed.
"Bhale Bhale Magadivoy" was written and directed by Maruthi Dasari. Nani and Lavanya Tripathi had played the lead roles in the psychological-romantic comedy entertainer and this film is one of the hits in Tollywood.
