Alleged off-screen couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra has apparently signed director Shakun Batra's film, which will roll in April. And, according to new reports the two will require to shoot an intense love-making sequence for the film.
"There's one really intense and intimate love-making scene between them. It goes way beyond the kiss they shared in 'Student of the Year,'" an insider informed Mumbai Mirror adding that a veteran actor will be roped in for the film who will be responsible for resolving issues between the lead pair.
Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is essentially a love triangle involving two brothers. While it is clear that Alia and Sidharth are set to play the lovebirds, Fawad Afzal Khan may or may not play the other brother who too falls for Alia in the film resulting in a complicated relationship.
Interestingly, the Pakistani charmer is being considered for the role because Karan's mother Hiroo Johar and her gang of girls adore the new hottie on the block. However, these are mere speculations since there has been no official announcement from either of the parties.
In other news, while the story of Alia-Sidharth's new film appears interesting, this wasn't what was originally written. "Karan didn't approve of the first script and Shakun has been working on a different version since then. He finally presented a draft to Karan a few weeks ago. KJo was so pleased with it that he wasted no time in locking the cast. It's a family-centric drama now and is nowhere similar to his first script," Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.
Additionally, Alia will be seen in Vikas Bahl's "Shaandaar" alongside Shahid Kapoor, whereas Sidharth will set the big screens on fire with his "Brothers" along with Akshay Kumar.
