Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's relationship seems to be stable and they have not parted ways, unlike recent reports released by a section of media. It became evident when she thanked him after winning a Filmfare Award recently.
The Kerala-based actress won the Best Actress Award at the recently held 63rd Filmfare Awards for her performance in Tamil movie "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan," which was written and directed by her rumoured boyfriend Vignesh Shivan. While receiving the award, she said, "Big hug and big thank you to my director Vignesh Shivan."
Later, Vignesh Shivan posted a picture in which they are seen together. He posted a photo with the tweet, "GoldenLady #Thangamey #Nayanthara with her #BlackLady #Filmfare #BestActress #NaanumRowdyDhaan #Kadambari #GodSpeed. [sic]" His comment has put an end to the rumours related to their break-up.
Recently, it was being speculated that Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's relationship had taken a toll after she refused to bankroll his next project. It was also said that the actress had walked out of his film.
The romantic sparks between them had reportedly started last year during the making of their hit film, "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan." However, they have repeatedly denied reports about their affair.
On the professional front, Nayanthara has a couple of big projects in her kitty. The actress, who was recently seen in Simbu's "Idhu Namma Aalu," will be seen in the Jiiva-starrer "Thirunaal," Karthi's "Kashmora," Vikram's "Iru Mugan" and a few other films.
Vignesh Shivan, on the other hand, is getting ready for his next film, "Kaathuvaakkula Irandu Kadhal," which will reportedly star Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles.
