It looks like things are souring up in the relationship between television couple Mouni Roy of "Naagin" fame and Mohit Raina. The rumoured couple is apparently having regular arguments over Mouni's alleged closeness to her "Naagin" co-star Arjun Bijlani, Mid-Day reports.
The increasing proximity between Mouni and Arjun is not going down well with their colleagues either. Arjun, who also happens to be the owner of Mumbai Tigers in the "Box Cricket League 2" (BCL 2), is apparently giving Mouni a lot of importance, which has not gone down well with the other female members of the cricket team.
"Both Mouni and Mohit are having a lot of arguments over her growing closeness to Arjun Bijlani, her co-star in 'Naagin.' The lady members of Arjun's cricket team are upset with him for giving Mouni unnecessary importance on the field even though she barely plays," a source told Mid-Day.
However, Arjun refuted the reports claiming them to be baseless. "These speculations are untrue. Mouni is the face of the team and gets the importance she deserves. If someone has had a problem with her, they've got to come to me. As for trouble between Mohit and her, I have absolutely no clue," Arjun said.
Mouni and Mohit, who shared screen space in "Devon Ke Dev..Mahadev," have been said to be dating for over five years now. Although the two have never admitted to their relationship, they are often spotted together at events or parties. Recently, it was being said that Mouni and Mohit got engaged after rumours started doing the rounds that Mohit gifted a solitaire ring to his lady love. However, the actress later denied the engagement reports.
Meanwhile, Mouni will soon be seen hosting the reality dance show, "So You Think You Can Dance," after wrapping up "Naagin," which is likely to go off air April 30. On the other hand, Mohit has reportedly been finalised to play the role of grown-up Ashoka in "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat."
