Conspiracy theorists have long been stating that aliens from outer space are visiting earth regularly to monitor our activities. Adding heat to their claims, a giant cigar-shaped UFO was recently spotted flying across Lake Norman in the United States.
The mysterious sighting was captured by a local resident using his mobile phone camera. The footage shows an eerie UFO hovering across the skies, just above Lake Norman. In the video, the man can be seen saying that the object in the skies is an alien spacecraft.
"I was at work on May 29, 2018, at 10:30 a.m it had been raining all morning. Rain finally stopped so we went to pick up a boat from Lake Norman. When we came around the corner I saw this thing sitting still very close," said the witness.
The video later gained publicity after it was shared by conspiracy theory YouTube channel 'The Hidden Underbelly 2.0'. After watching the video, most of the viewers argued that alien life is a reality, and the government is well aware of extraterrestrial existence. Conspiracy theorists argue that aliens are living underwater, and it is because most of the UFO sightings are happening near water bodies.
"I believe there are advanced Military Aircraft, in our skies. It's amazing people don't know how to use the video, and focus on their camera's. They are pre-programming the masses, EVERYTHING lately is about Aliens and UFO's. Anytime, MSM, TV shows, Movies, all of a sudden exposing the "ALIENS from a Planet in Outer Space Invasion" False Flag Alert! I have popcorn ready for this Grand Deception," commented Waking Wolf, a YouTube user.
"Pretty cool man! Little dizzy after but good catch!," commented Ben Driggers, another YouTuber.
However, skeptics argue that the video is a fabricated one, and they made it clear that unusual shakiness of the clip is a solid evidence that it is intentionally made up for 'Clickbait'.
