Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt reportedly wants her film-maker father Mahesh Bhatt to pen down an intense film for her. Additionally she hopes to work with her mother, Soni Razdan in a period movie.
Though the talented film-maker has taken a backseat for quite sometime now, the "Highway" actress has expressed her desire to work with her father. "I want him to write a script for me. It should be an intense power-packed film," Financial Express quoted the actress.
Mahesh who last directed Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff starrer "Kartoos" in 1999 has made several contribution to the Indian cinema with his great direction in yesteryear blockbusters such as "Arth", "Saaransh" and "Aashiqui" among others.
"I wish to be directed by my father who has done tremendous good work for cinema. It is a dream. I have told him several times. But he doesn't listen, he just does not want to direct a film, but he can write. I know when he will write a script he will be actively involved in film-making process." the 21-year-old added.
However, her actress-director mother, Razdan, will soon be directing a movie "Love Affair", which is a passionate love story. Alia has confirmed that though her mother is directing the film, she will not be a part of it as she doesn't fit in the movie in terms of the character or the story.
Further, the actress confirmed that her project with mother Razdan on a period film is on the process and that the script is ready. "We want to do a period film... we have a subject, we are looking at the right time to do it. The script is ready," she added, without revealing other details.
Alia who has been promoting her upcoming film "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" (HSKD") is all excited for its release on 11 July. "HSKD" directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar under the banner "Dharma Production", will also star Varun Dhawan in the lead.
While the "HSKD" tracks "Saturday Saturday" and "Samjhawan" are already topping charts, the newly launched "Emotional Fool" has also received good response.
Alia will be next seen in Vikas Bahl's romantic thriller "Shaandar" opposite Shahid Kapoor, which is slated to go on floors in August this year.
