Alia Bhatt will appear in Gauri Shinde's "Dear Zindagi" next alongside Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur and Angad Bedi. The recent buzz is that the actors have recently shot a dance sequence, but it does not involve Shah Rukh Khan, who will also feature in the film.
Shah Rukh will play an extended cameo as Alia's therapist and all the other four men will romance the "Udta Punjab" actress. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Alia shot for a song titled "Love You Zindagi" in which she will be seen shaking a leg with all her four love interests.
"It's a party sequence and the four guys take turns dancing with Alia in styles that complement their characters. Interestingly, some of the crew makes an appearance in the dance sequence too. It was Gauri's idea but while her assistant directors were drawn into the frame, the team couldn't convince the director to join in. The song was shot in South Goa over two days. Only Shah Rukh Khan who plays Alia's therapist, who goes on to become her inspiration, wasn't a part of the song," a source from the sets told the leading daily.
SRK has already shot his part in the film that is said to be 30 minutes long. He will not romance Alia, but guide the actress in her love life. Pakistani actor Ali will play a rock star, while Kunal will be seen as a film producer with long hair and a high-fashion look. Angad will play Alia's childhood sweetheart, who owns a starry suburban resto-bar, and Aditya will be the handsome boy-next-door, who will be a furniture dealer.
"Alia dates all these men with contrasting personalities, whose perspectives on life eventually reflect in the film she is making. It'll be interesting to find out who she ends up with finally," the source added.
