Many Bollywood tabloids have reported that Alia Bhatt will tie the knot with Ranbir Kapoor somewhere in 2019. But now, the starlet has squashed all the rumours and has made it clear that her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor is not going to happen anytime soon.
A few months back, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had admitted that they are in a relationship, and interestingly, the duo will soon share screen space in the upcoming movie 'Brahmastra'.
"If people are waiting for my wedding then, they have to wait for it. I think the climax should be good and there should be a happy ending to it," Alia Bhatt said while attending the Media Lux Golden Rose Awards 2018 last Sunday.
As per close sources to Alia and Ranbir, the duo apparently fell in love during the shooting of Brahmastra. Rumours regarding their relationship heated up when they were spotted coming out together and posed at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's gala wedding reception in Mumbai. Later, the duo was clicked together in New York and Bandra.
During the interaction with media, Alia Bhatt also shared her excitement about the impending wedding of Priyanka Chopra with Nick Jonas.
"I am really happy and excited that Priyanka Chopra is getting married. I am very excited to see PC and her wedding attire. I am very fond of her and I have a lot of warmth and love for her. I hope that she will have a beautiful wedding. I am sure she will make a beautiful bride and she should have a beautiful life," Alia added.
Coming to Brahmastra, the movie is being directed by Aryan Mukherjee with a budget of Rs 250 crore. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles.
The film bankrolled by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions will have its theatrical release in December 2019.
