Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's break-up came as a shock to many, as the two had been together for six years and looked quite in love. While it was earlier said that it was Ranbir's equation with former girlfriend Deepika Padukone that caused the rift, the recent buzz is that actress Alia Bhatt is behind the split.
While many blamed compatibility issues and Ranbir's proximity to Deepika for Katrina's insecurity that led to the couple's split, SpotboyE recently stated that Mahesh Bhatt's younger daughter was the actual reason behind the lovebirds calling it quits.
The report suggests that Katrina couldn't bear her boyfriend's fondness for Alia in a party, which was organised by Imtiaz Ali a few months ago. The portal further reported that the "Shaandaar" actress' presence at Ranbir and Katrina's parties in their apartment started bothering the "Fitoor" actress.
Katrina even expected Imtiaz to drop Alia from his upcoming superhero flick which stars Ranbir and the "Highway" actress in lead roles. However, things didn't work out the way Katrina wanted, thus leading to unending arguments between the two.
In other news, the Kapoor scion has reportedly shifted base to Wilson Apartments (Bandra suburbs), which is close to where is his parents live.
If the buzz about them going separate ways is true, will they end up getting back together considering they are working on Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos"? Only time will tell.
