Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who made her debut in "Student of the Year," will reportedly play the leading lady inDhanush's upcoming project in Tamil.
Buzz is that the pretty actress is in talks with the makers of Dhanush's film, which is set to go on floors in August this year.
According to reports, Dhanush has allotted a bulk 150 days for the film's shooting. This would be the first time that the actor is teaming up with cinematographer-cum-director K V Anand, known for films including "Ko" and "Maattraan."
Dhanush had earlier confirmed that he would star in K V Anand's film after his upcoming flicks "Raanjhanna", "Mariyaan" and "Naiyandi" are released. "Yes guys...much 2 d delight of u all and myself iam doing a film with k v anand sir.the technicians are yet 2 b finalised.shoot 4m august," the actor had earlier tweeted.
While some reports suggest that music composer Harris Jayaraj would continue his association with Anand in this film, others suggest that Anirudh of "Kolaveri Di" might be onboard the project.
If Alia accepts the offer, then she would make her debut in Kollywood with this yet-to-be titled flick. An official announcement on the same is still awaited. The rest of the cast and crew of the film is expected to be announced soon.
The teenage actress made her debut as a child artist in Akshay Kumar-Preity Zinta starrer "Sangharsh" (1999). After the supersuccess of her recently-released film 'Student of the Year," the Bollywood lass is busy with a couple of projects including "Highway" and "Two States".
