"Highway" actress Alia Bhatt had called Kareena Kapoor Khan as her role model, but now her loyalty has changed to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Earlier, when asked about her role model, Bhatt had said that "Kareena is her ideal and role model."
But recently when she was asked the same question she names Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as her role model, DNA reported.
"There's a reason for Alia's volte face. When Kareena was asked what she thought of Alia, she replied with a noncommittal "She's okay." That didn't go down well with Alia. She expected the love to be reciprocated. So she changed her answer," DNA quoted an insider as saying.
When Khan appeared on the first episode of chat show "Koffee With Karan" season 4, she hardly had said anything faltering about the "2 States" actress.
During the show, when Karan Johar asked her about the comparison between her and Bhatt she replied saying that "she has mixed feelings about it." And that might not go well with Bhatt.
"I have said this before. I love her, but I wouldn't dare to ever even imagine be compared to her. She is such a humongous star and such a great actress. I love her and she is my role model and ideal," she said during a press conference in 2012.
Bhatt expected that Khan would reciprocate in the same manner, which the actress didn't do. So now when she is asked about her role model, Bhatt chooses the Bachchan bahu.
