Last month, a few pictures from the sets of Brahmastra had surfaced online where Alia Bhatt looked visibly upset around Ranbir Kapoor who was seen busy with his phone. Social media users had started wondering what could be the reason behind Alia's sadness? But now the Raazi actress has finally revealed why she looked upset while she was sitting besides her boyfriend Ranbir on the film sets.
During her media interaction at the Kids' Choice Awards red carpet on Thursday (December 13) evening, when Alia was asked about the reason behind her sadness, she replied, "No, that's my face, when I rest. It was my resting face. I wasn't upset at all. I am very happy and I'm a very happy person but that's my resting face. Some people call me Naani because of that. I am always frowning. But, I wasn't upset at all."
Alia and Ranbir hit it off instantly while they began shooting for Ayan Mukherji's upcoming directorial Brahmastra and have been going strong since then. While Ranbir has openly spoken about his relationship on many occassions, Alia still feels shy to talk about it.
When Alia was asked to comment on her father Mahesh Bhatt approving her relationship and calling Ranbir a great guy, she tried to avoid the question but later answered it by saying, "To be honest, I don't want to talk about it, I am feeling shy. But, I love my father and anything he says obviously means the world to me."
Reports state that Alia is all for marriage and will continue to work in films unlike other daughters-in-laws Neetu Kapoor and Babita who gave up their acting careers after getting married in the Kapoor clan.
