Rumours have been going around that former bollywood actress and Akshay Kumar's wife, Twinkle Khanna, is not thrilled with his on-screen pairing with Sonakshi Sinha and has asked him to take a break from future projects with Sinha.
If rumours are to be believed, then the "Holiday" stars won't be seen together in future projects for sometime at least. However, no official confirmation has been made on the same.
Prior to his marriage, Kumar has been linked with many of his co-star actress, but things turned over after his marriage with Khanna.
Khanna seems to be bothered with Akki's over-friendly behaviour with Sinha, with whom he has shared the screen space in about six films such as "Joker," "Rowdy Rathore," "Boss," "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara" and "Holiday," all of which were successful in the Box Office, with "Rowdy Rathore" and the recently released "Holiday" being blockbusters.
However, Khanna has reportedly asked her husband to take up projects with newer heroines.
Filmmakers are in search for heroines to make some compatible on-screen jodi's opposite the "Khiladi" actor. "Be it Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol, Katrina Kaif-Akshay and Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor, every successful onscreen pair needs to space out their work.
Casting newer heroines and not Sonakshi is a decision that is taken by the actor and the filmmakers. It's Akshay's prerogative, who he wants to work or not to work with." according to a source from the film industry, reported Bollywoodlife.com.
Earlier, Khanna had asked her husband not to take up projects with Priyanka Chopra after they shared screen space in four films. Apparently, she was upset with the growing bond between the two. Later, even Katrina Kaif was listed out when the "Singh is King" star worked in six films with Kaif.
But what might have triggered Khanna from Akki-Sona bond remains unknown, since both Kumar and Sinha share great chemistry on-screen, but display strict professionalism off-screen.
However, some reports have also been going around that the "Dabaang" actress is not in good terms with Khanna, which may also have led the actors take a break. Sinha is currently shooting for "Action Jackson" with Ajay Devgan and "Tevar" with Arjun Kapoor.
