Akshay Kumar's drastic makeover: Is it for any upcoming movie? [PHOTO]

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is one of those stars who is known for doing the maximum number of films in a year. As this year comes to an end, Akshay has finally planned to take a break and will return to work after New Year.

He has already wrapped up the shooting of three movies titled 2.0, Gold and PadMan this year, which are set to be released next year. 

Meanwhile, the actor is on a short break and thus, gotten himself a drastic makeover. He has donned a grey look, sporting a buzzcut and posing with a Santa Claus effigy.

Meanwhile, the actor is said to have roped in for a horror comedy flick. Earlier, Akshay has said that he would love to be a part of this genre. He has done one such movie – Bhool Bhulaiya and fans have loved it.

Akshay is coming up with a strong script on-screen, Padman. Recently, the movie's trailer was released and garnered appreciation from all quarters.

Written and directed by R Balki and produced by Twinkle Khanna, the film is based on Arunachalam Muruganantham, who went on a mission to provide clean and hygienic sanitary napkins to the women of his village in less price.

Akshay Kumar is playing the protagonist and takes a funny yet valid take on this social taboo of periods. Overall, addressing issues like menstruation, sanitary napkins, female health, and hygiene – this film will definitely win people's hearts. The film is all set to release on January 26, 2018.
