Akshay Kumar and Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu may reportedly team up for A.R. Murugadoss' upcoming untitled movie. Akshay will play the main antagonist in the film while Mahesh will be seen romancing Parineeti Chopra, reported India Glitz.
According to the report, the movie will be a trilingual one and will simultaneously be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. However, there has not been any official confirmation on Akshay and Parineeti being part of the project as of now.
Akshay will be seen in Rajinikanth's upcoming movie "2.0" that will also present the actor in a negative role. His look in the film was revealed some time back and that had received mixed responses from fans. While some liked it, some others made fun of the same.
Mahesh's last movie "Brahmotsavam" bombed at the box office and now the actor is apparently under pressure to come up with a blockbuster. There are also reports that Mahesh has assured PVP Cinema (producers of "Brahmotsavam") to do another movie with the production company to compensate the losses incurred.
On the other side, Akshay's "Housefull 3" has been released on June 3. After "Baby" and "Airlift," Akshay has come back in the comedy genre with "Housefull 3" that also features Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmuk, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon.
It is third instalment of the popular "Housefull" franchise. Akshay will next be seen in another serious role in the movie "Rustom." The film will reportedly be based on the real-life story of Navel Officer K.M. Nanavati. "Rustom" will feature Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead.
