It has emerged that reports of Salman Khan's alleged walkout on Akshay Kumar, during the shoot of a song in "Fugly", are false altogether.
A leading tabloid recently claimed that Khan was miffed with Kumar during the shoot of a "Fugly" song and left the set midway, after finding that the "Special 26" actor was being highlighted in the song.
It was also reported that Khan refused to complete the shoot and the "Dabangg" actor's actions led to an obvious animosity between him and Kumar.
However, it is now understood the report was apparently fake, and Kumar is quite unhappy with the piece of news, which he believes projects the wrong picture.
As opposed to walking out of the shoot, Khan finished his part and went out to the adjacent floor to visit Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who were having a photo shoot for "2 States", a source revealed to The Times of India. And the star left only after the shoot was wrapped up, in order to meet the "O Teri" team in the same studio, where Khan's sister Alvira Khan and brother-in-law Atul Agihotri were present.
"Akshay and Salman have no issues. Sallu even spoke to Akki before leaving. Once the song comes out, it will be there for all to see," confirmed the source, dispelling rumours of tension between the two ssuperstars.
Kumar and Khan will be seen shaking a leg together in "Fugly", which also features a fresh cast in Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Arfi Lamba and Keira Advani. Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has lend his voice to the track.
