Akshay Kumar has emerged as the most popular Bollywood actor beating Salman Khan in a monthly survey. In the survey titled Ormax Stars India Loves (Ormax SIL), conducted by Ormax Media, Akshay claimed the first slot in the list of top 10 actors.
Akshay became the most loved Bollywood actor in October 2016 as he got two percent more votes than Salman in the survey. Ormax Media conducted the survey in 50 cities across India to assess the popularity of some of the top Bollywood actors.
Salman has been winning the first position in the survey for the past few months, followed by Akshay at the second position. But the Rustom actor has now beaten Salman in the race and topped the list. While Salman was on top of the list in overall September survey, Akshay was voted as the most popular actor across Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
Others to have secured places in the list of top 10 most loved Bollywood actors in October 2016 are Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and John Abraham.
Akshay has had a wonderful year so far with three back-to-back hits. After the success of Airlift, Housefull 3 and Rustom had also turned out to be super hits. On the other side, Salman too is on cloud nine with Sultan becoming one of the biggest blockbusters ever.
While Akshay has a number of upcoming movies including Jolly LLB, Toilet-Ek Prem Katha and Crack, Salman is currently busy shooting for Tubelight.
