We had recently reported that VV Vinayak has been roped in to direct Akhil Akkineni's debut film. If we are to go by the latest buzz, this project is slated to go on floors on 15 November.
Reports suggest that VV Vinayak has been confirmed as the director in Nagarjuna's son's debut film. The pre-production works of the movie are currently going on in full swing.
"'Damarukam' fame Veligonda Srinivas has penned the story for this film, while Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are writing the screenplay and dialogues," according to 123Telugu.
It was reported earlier that Akkineni Nagarjuna would produce his son Akhil's debut movie with a whopping budget under Annapurna Studios. But the latest reports suggest that it will be produced by actor Nithin's father Sudharkar Reddy, who is one among the noted producers and distributors of Telugu film industry.
During ANR's birth anniversary and Manam success, Akhil Akkineni had said the viewers are eagerly waiting to know about his debut film. "I know that a lot of people are curious to know details about my debut film. However, I would like to clarify that I haven't made up my mind yet," The Times of India quoted the actor as saying.
Akhil Akkineni assured to reveal the details of his film after the release of his brother's film. "I want to start my career with a blockbuster film and I'm not going to settle for anything less than that. If all goes well, I will announce details about my debut film in near future after "Oka Laila Kosam" releases. Till then, all I can say is, I'm still working hard on what my debut film should be," added Akhil.
