When Malayalam actor Aju Varghese posted a selfie with superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran Feb. 26, he had called their association a "small surprise" for the audience. "Not for a movie, a small surprise. Angane 6 years of dream to work with Rajuettan is finally made. Thank God [sic]," Aju had then posted on his Facebook page.
Now, the "Adi Kapyare Kootamani" actor has shared a video of a television advertisement for the brand Kalyan Silks featuring the actors. The 45-second commercial introduces the StarZ Collection 2016 of the textile brand.
"A much awaited dream to work along with Raju ettan and Thank you Kalyan Silks for this opportunity. Jaseer ikka and Sameer Chechi #‎starscollection‬ [sic]," wrote Aju while sharing the video of the commercial on his Facebook page.
Aju, who began his career as an actor in Vineeth Sreenivasan-directed "Malarvaadi Arts Club" in 2010, has also said his six-year-long dream of working with Prithviraj came true when the actors shot for the commercial in February.
On the career front, Aju, who was last seen in the comedy entertainer "Hello Namasthe," has a pivotal role in Priyadarshan movie "Oppam" with superstar Mohanlal.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj has become one of the most bankable actors of the industry with many movies, including Sujith Vaassudev's "James and Alice," James Kottakal's "Beautiful Game," Pradeep M Nair's "Vimaanam," Rosshan Andrews' "Naale Ravile," RS Vimal's "Karnan," Jinu Abraham's "Adam," Blessy's "Aadujeevitham" and epic drama "Kunchirakkottu Kaali" in his kitty for the year. Prithviraj and Vedhika-starrer "James and Alice" will hit the screens April 29.
