The teaser of "Yentha Vaadu Gaanie," the Telugu version of Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal," is all set to be released soon.
After treating the Tamil fans with an impressive teaser, Ajith and director Gautham Menon are gearing up to impress the Telugu audience. "#YenthaVaaduGaanie telugu version of #YennaiArindhaal teaser to be release soon... @arunvijayno1 @trishtrashers @Actor_Vivek," tweeted Suriya, who works in Menon's Photonkathaas.
Some reports have suggested that the teaser will release on Friday, 5 December, but there is no official confirmation in this regard.
Ajith and Menon have a decent market in Telugu industry and their films have fared well at the box office. It remains to be seen if the teaser of "Yentha Vaadu Gaanie" manages to impress the Telugu audience as much as the Tamil version did.
The teaser of the Tamil version, titled "Yennai Arindhaal," has fetched grand response from the fans. The video has received more than 13 lakh hits (1.3 million) in less than two days on the video sharing site, YouTube. It is expected to cross the 5 million mark soon.
The shooting of the action thriller flick is in its last leg and is expected to be wrapped up soon. The film's audio launch and the trailer are also expected to be released in the next two months.
The film will be hitting screens for Pongal/Sankranti 2015. It needs to be seen if the Telugu version also releases simultaneously on the same day. As there are several Telugu biggies planned for Sankranti release, the Telugu version might hit the screens on a later date.
It may be recalled that Ajith's last release "Veeram" hit the screens for Pongal 2014, while the Telugu version "Veerudokkade" released much later. The makers of "Yentha Vaadu Gaanie" might follow the same strategy, but there is no official confirmation in this regard.
The film starring Ajith, Anushka Shetty and Trisha are expected to take big openings upon its release. Ajith is considered as the king of opening box office. While "Yennai Arindhaal" is expected to take humongous openings, it will be interesting to see how the Telugu version fares at the box office.
