Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal", which had its trailer and audio released on 31 December midnight, has been reportedly postponed. Well, the Tamil movie has opted out of the Pongal race.
Yes. As per the reliable sources, "Yennai Arindhaal" release has been postponed. It means that Shankar's "I" and Vishal's "Aambala" will be hitting the screens as Sankrathi treats for the Tamil audience.
There are two theories regarding the postponement of "Yennai Arindhaal" is doing rounds. While some say speculate that to avoid clash with Shankar's "I", the makers have pushed the release date, many say that post-production works are likely to take more time than expected, forcing Gautham Menon and producer AM Rathnam to delay the release.
Apparently, Karthi's "Kombam" and Sivakarthikeyan's "Kaaki Sattai" releases have also been pushed. In the mean time, there are rumours that "Yennai Arindhaal" will release on 29 January. However, there is no official confirmation on it yet.
But the delay news of "Yennai Arindhaal" has come as a shock to Ajith fans, who were eagerly waiting for the Tamil movie to hit the screens for Pongal. Nonetheless, the traders feel that the pushing the release is a good idea as the movie will have a solo release.
On the other end, the makers of "Yennai Arindhaal" have released the trailer and it has got amazing response from the audience. In less than 12 hours, it has got close to 5 lakh hits on its official Youtube page. Interestingly, it has got 34000 likes. It is likely to create a new record in terms of views on the video-sharing website.
Ajith Kumar's strong screen presence, action sequences and good editing are the highlights of the video. Not to forget, Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty make good impact with their presence.
