The delay in the release of Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" has come as a big shock to his fans and a surprising development to general audience. This has also paved way for many speculations.
The moment after the postponement news was announced by cine journalists on Twitter, people started speculating reasons behind "Yennai Arindhaal" delay. Rumours claimed that the makers of Ajith's movie feared the prospects of their film if they released the flick along with Shankar's "I" for Pongal.
Shankar's "I" starring Vikram and Amy Jackson is one of the biggest-movies of Kollywood and releasing "Yennai Arindhaal" could affect the Ajith's film at box office. This factor made them push the release. However, the real reason behind the postponement is that the makers of the film want to release it big. Well, they are planning to simultaneously release the Telugu version along with the Tamil version.
Hence, the post-production works is taking more time than expected. The producer AM Rathnam himself has confirmed his plans and said that both the versions will appear before the audience on 29 January. His formal statement has put an end to all those speculations.
"Yennai Arindhaal" was originally planned to release for Pongal 2015 and the makers of the movie have been publicising it from the day one. The delay has disappointed Ajith's fans.
The traders have declared the delay as a good move. The substantial gap between two big releases work well for both Shankar's "I" and Ajith Kumar's "Yennai Arindhaal", which is directed by Gautham Menon.
Meanwhile, the trailer of "Yennai Arindhaal" has gone viral on internet. The video along with the music of the movie was released on 31 December and got good response from the audience. The film, which has Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty in the female lead roles, has Harris Jayaraj's music.
