Kollywood have stood up for the people in Chennai as they are desperately in need of help. The celebrities are not just donating money, but also providing food and shelter. And, Ajith's wife has also done her bit for the flood-hit victims in Chennai.
Shalini Ajith distributed food to over 400 hungry people. On her Facebook, she posted a request to her followers to spread the message so that the food reaches the needy.
She wrote, "We are preparing some fresh and hot food to help out the folks in Chennai. We will be able to feed about 400 or more people. For the past few weeks, Chennai has been trying to cope with heavy rain and floods. The city has been hit by flood. The rain has affected power, communication and transport, causing chaos among the citizens. Countless people have also lost their properties and mainly families are officially no homeless.
