The teaser of Ajith's "Vedalam" was supposed to release last week, but was delayed for some reasons. The teaser will now reportedly be released this week.
Some unconfirmed reports claimed that the makers of "Vedalam" have decided to release the first teaser on 8 October. With this, the Thursday sentiment of producer AM Rathnam, who is a devotee of Sai Baba, is likely to continue.
Earlier, the producers had planned to release the audio of "Vedalam" on 1 October. But the release was postponed for some reasons. It was speculated that the makers did not want a clash with "Puli", which released on the aforementioned date. Apparently, to avoid unnecessary conflicts between the fans of Vijay and Ajith, the makers decide to postpone it.
After launching the teaser this week, the makers will move to the audio release, which is likely to happen on 16 October, coinciding music composer Anirudh Ravichander's birthday.
The music director, who composed a song sung by Shruti Haasan recently, is all set for the launch and is likely to finish off the pending work of the album by the end of this week.
The trailer of "Vedalam" is likely to launch in the last week of October, thus paving the way for its Diwali release. Though the producers have not announced the release date, it is speculated that the flick will hit the theatres on 5 November, a few days before the festival.
"Vedalam" is written and directed by Siruthai Siva. AM Rathnam has produced the movie, which is a hat trick for him with Ajith after "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal". The latest Tamil movie has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role along with Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Duhan Singh and Rahul Dev.
