Anirudh Ravichander seems to be leaving no stone unturned to make Ajith's "Vedalam" (Vedhalam) a special album. The latest is that actress Shruti Haasan has crooned a song for this forthcoming Tamil flick.
Shruti Haasan recorded the song on Friday, 2 October and the actress announced the news through a tweet. "Recording with @anirudhofficial tralalala time to sang!!!!!". The genre of the song is not revealed yet and this is for the third time that the actress is working with Anirudh Ravichander.
They had earlier collaborated in Dhanush starrer "3" and Sivakarthikeyan's "Maan Karate" and both the albums had become big hits. Now, the expectations are very high this time as well.
Meanwhile, Anirudh Ravichander is getting ready to wrap up the album. He has already composed a few songs including a number crooned by Bollywood singer Vishal Dadlani. The album reportedly has five songs and Sony Music has acquired the rights for a fancy amount.
The album is expected to be out in coming weeks. Even though the exact date is not revealed, it is believed that the music is likely to be out during Navaratri festival. It is reported that the album would possibly be released directly to stores rather than releasing through a function.
Meanwhile, the "Vedalam" team is busy with post-production work. The film's unit, which was supposed to release a teaser on 1 October, is now getting ready to release the video-clip on 8 October. It will be followed by the trailer release, which is expected to be out in the last week of this month.
"Vedalam" will be released for Diwali. The movie has Shruti Haasan and Ajith Kumar in the lead roles. Lakshmi Menon plays an important role with Rahul Dev and Kabir Singh Duhan play the roles of antagonist.
