After finishing the first two schedules, the film unit of Ajith's forthcoming movie, which is being referred to as Thala 57, is set to start the shooting of its third schedule, which will commence next week.
As per the reports, the Thala 57 unit is leaving to Bulgaria on Saturday, November 12, for the third and final schedule. The makers have planned to complete the shooting in 55 days. It means the film unit will be returning to India only in January.
The first schedule was held in and around Belgrade. After returning to India, the shooting was kick-started in Hyderabad and it was wrapped up last month. The makers have plans to release the movie in May and possibly on the occasion of Ajith's birthday (May 1).
With the shooting coming to an end in January, the makers will get ample of time to work on the post-production works and on its promotions.
Thala 57 is a spy thriller and the majority of the movie will be shot in the foreign backdrop. It is being made like a James Bond film. Ajith is playing an Interpol officer in the movie. A crime occurs in Tamil Nadu and the hero, who wants to get to the root of the issue, investigates the case, which takes him to Europe.
Sathyajyothi Films-produced Thala 57 has Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan playing the female leads with Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Appukutty and a few others being signed to play the supporting characters.
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi will be seen in the role of a baddie in the film, which has the music of Anirudh Ravichander, Vetri's cinematography and Ruben's editing.
