Ajith's forthcoming movie, which is being referred as Thala 57, is a spy thriller. A major part of the film will be shot in foreign countries. The latest update on the flick is that the songs in the movie will be scored like a James Bond film.
Speaking to Only Kollywood, Anirudh Ravichander, who is scoring music for the Ajith-starrer, said, "Thala 57 will have an international action film's feel. The music would be in the James Bond zone."
Talking about the music, he added, "Siva wanted such a kind of music and it is a stark transition from Aaluma Doluma to this. An action film also gives me heavy scope for re-recording. This will be out next summer."
This is the second movie of Anirudh Ravichander with Ajith and Siruthai Siva after their hit movie Vedalam. The success of their previous movie has made the audience have high hopes on the songs from Thala 57.
Anirudh Ravichander started working on Thala 57 long ago and he is apparently ready with a few songs. The Tamil movie will have six songs, and one can expect a variety of compositions in the album. The tracks are believed to be targeted at the youth and are primarily aimed at the mass audience.
Coming to Thala 57, the shooting of the movie is currently underway in Hyderabad. The first schedule of filming was completed in Europe last month.
Sathyajyothi Films-produced Thala 57 has Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan playing the female leads with Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Appukutty and a few others being signed to play the supporting characters.
Meanwhile, the makers are yet to find a suitable artiste for the villain's role. It may be recalled that the names of many big names like Arvind Swami, Prasanna and Sudeep were earlier making the rounds.
