SS Rajamouli was in Chennai on Friday, 5 June, to formally release the trailer of his forthcoming movie "Baahubali". During the event, the director heaped praises on Tamil actor Ajith and said that he was a fantastic human being.
On being asked who his favourite actor in Tamil industry was, the filmmaker's instant response was Rajinikanth. Later, he also mentioned that he loves to work with the stars of Kollywood.
"Anyone will say Rajinikanth's name first. Obviously, I want to do Rajinikanth sir film. But I have a very good rapport with Suriya star. I met Ajith sir couple of times and he is a fantastic human being," he said in the interview.
SS Rajamouli cautiously said that though he likes to work with them, he does not want to approach them without a proper script.
"I know the kind of following they have among the audience. I want to do films with all of them. What I realise is that it is the story that is important. I should go and ask them 'Shall we do with this kind of story' rather than saying can 'we do a film together,'" he added.
It was earlier reported that SS Rajamouli was directing Rajinikanth, but the director later denied the association. Meanwhile, he is getting ready for the release of his next film "Baahubali", a multilingual movie made with never-before like budget in the Indian cinema.
The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia in the lead roles. It is a historical-fiction, which will release worldwide on 10 July.
SS Rajamouli has not revealed his plans after completing this film. So, we will have to wait and watch if the filmmaker has any plans to work with Rajinikanth, Ajith or Suriya.
