The Hindi version of Ajith's multi-starrer "Arrambam" trailer is out. A year after the release of its original version, the dubbed film seems to be ready to appear before the audience.
"Arrambam" has been titled "Player Ek Khiladi" in Hindi. The dubbing rights have been acquired by Cinekorn Movies. As per the traders, the Ajith's movie is likely to be premiered on TV. It is still unclear whether the satellite rights has been sold to any TV channel.
The Tamil movie was a hit at box office in 2013 and it had made good business. Following the success of the film, there were several reports on the movie being remade in Hindi. It was said that Akshay Kumar or Salman Khan would star in the film. In the end, it appears like the rumours have turned out to be false.
"Arrambam" was released on 31 October last year. The movie was directed by Vishnuvardhan and jointly produced by A Raghuram-AM Rathnam. Ajith Kumar, Nayantara, Arya and Taapsee Pannu featured in the main roles.
Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarni, Kishore, Suman Ranganathan, Akshara Gowda and others featured in the supporting roles. Telugu actor Rana Daggubati is also featured in a cameo role.
The Tamil movie told the story of an ex-cop seeking revenge against the bureaucrats and politicians, who were responsible for the death of his close friend. The story was packed with love, action, friendship and sentiment.
However, over the years, the Hindi television industry has been buying a lot of South films. The demand for commercial movies has seen a sharp rise. As per the traders, audience demand for fresh content has created an opportunity for South film industries to sell their dubbed films for reasonable price.
